Cum e si in denumire, Biber este cel mai mic submarin german din al Doilea Razboi Mondial. Primul a fost fabricat in febuarie 1944, a fost creat pentru distrugerea navelor de coasta si a impiedica o invazie in Europa al Statelor Aliate. Au fost facute 324 de bucati si cel mai mare succes a avut unul dintre acestea in scufundarea navei cargo Alan A. Dale in 23 decembrie 1944.  Iata cateva poze preluate de pe diferite siteuri cu proiectul, poza reala si coperta revistei GPM.
